Why Choose traffic cop labs

Experience Matters

Traffic Cop Labs may have launched in 2025, but we’ve been in the game for years. Originally founded in 2019 as Crash Training Solutions, our mission started with one goal: deliver no-fluff, courtroom-ready training for crash investigators. As the demand grew, so did our focus.

Today, Traffic Cop Labs reflects that expanded mission—offering not just training, but field-tested hardware and in-house software built specifically for traffic investigators, drone operators, and public safety professionals. Founder Bobby J. Mullinax, a former law enforcement instructor, has delivered over 7,000 hours of hands-on instruction nationwide, including UAS and mapping courses for multiple state associations and the American Society of Civil Engineers

How are Drones Being Used in Public Safety?

A crash investigator for a police department photographs a skid mark left behind on the roadway.

Crash Scene Mapping

Drones have revolutionized crash investigations by reducing scene time, improving accuracy, and helping reopen roadways faster. High-resolution aerial data allows investigators to reconstruct scenes precisely—without stepping into traffic. It’s safer, faster, and built for the courtroom.

Tactical & Patrol Ops

Drones give patrol and tactical teams real-time intelligence before boots hit the ground. Whether clearing a structure, locating a suspect, or monitoring a perimeter, they reduce risk and improve decision-making. Aerial overwatch is no longer a luxury—it’s an operational advantage.

Fire Response

Drones give fire crews eyes in the sky when it matters most. From assessing roof integrity to tracking heat signatures with thermal cameras, they provide critical insight without putting firefighters in unnecessary danger. Faster situational awareness means faster, smarter response.
